The journey to honor the ‘Teaching’ mirror
After many year of accompanying and organizing the program “Sharing with teachers”, Thien Long has witnessed many stories about the heart of the people who has been spending their whole youth or even the most of their lives to teach the poor children…
The understanding and accompanying with the people who is doing the noble mission of educating people.
Being deferential to teacher and respected for moral is the beautiful tradition which needs to be preserved and promoted in every stage of development of the society, this is the foundation for Vietnamese young generation to become better, overcome limits, and make every dream come true. This is also the reason why every year, Thien Long Group together with the Vietnam Youth Federation, the Ministry of Education and Training, and the Committee of Ethnic Affairs organize trips under the program “Sharing with teacher” to visit the typical mirrors of teacher all over the country. Through these trips, the Organizing board have chance to listen, share and honor the teacher who is consistent to work in the remote areas, border areas, island districts; the Border guards who teaches students or helps them to go to school, or the teacher who is giving hope to students with special circumstances.

Not for sponsor or support, “Sharing with teachers” is highly evaluated for the sympathy and understanding for the difficulties of teachers on their way to deliver knowledge. Somewhere out there, at the most remote area; there are still people who are spending their youth, or even a the most part of their lives to teach the poor, and disabled students.
For many years, through “Sharing with teachers”, Thien Long has encouraged hundreds of teachers. The fact that teachers are encouraged to have more strengths to do their job also means that there are thousands more students in the remote areas are taught, loved and have the chance to change their fate and their hometown. These beautiful, noble values from teachers to students will spread in the community in a natural and powerful way, so that there are more enthusiastic people, who has the HEART – and the VISION to continue the education journey in the remote area, where knowledge are desired.
Each “Sharing with teachers” journey is a memorable journey. Each teacher brings a different emotional story. They chose to walk on the difficult journey to dedicate their all heart – mind – strength for education career. They are also the brave “teaching” mirrors who turn down the good opportunity in the cities, or even leave their family, to come to the remote areas, the poor regions.
Maybe because they give such pure hearts, teachers also receive the purest, most beautiful gratitude from students. After the strenuous years, the remaining memories in teachers’ minds are always the innocent children who walk for 3 to 5 hours to school, the little students who give them wild flowers in plastic bags every November 20th, the pure eyes when children ask teachers to stay in the class for 1 more year because they like the class”… These simple, beloved things make teachers want to stay, lighten hope for the dark place because of poverty, lightening belief in the future for the disabled.
“Sharing with teachers” – The continuous trips
With more than 40 years accompanying with education, more than anyone, Thien Long understand the difficulty that teachers are going through. Thien Long also shows admiration to teachers and will continue to organize “Sharing with teachers” in the next years to meet, share, and encourage teachers on the difficult journey that they chose.

Simultaneously, because of the mirrors, the emotional stories of the teachers with many years working in teaching career, Thien Long understand more profoundly the power of knowledge; is more consistent on the journey to use knowledge to change society.
Thien Long also hopes that with the stories that “Sharing with teachers” brings, the community will have sympathy, appreciation, and sharing with the difficulties that teachers are going through, so that there is more support, connection, and many young generations will have inspiration, and motivation to step in the noble job of teaching, contributing to the educational system of the country.
