Young talent for education: the name says it all!
This is an annual program held by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Ministry of Education and Training, Tuoi Tre Newspaper, and Thien Long Group Corporation. Through the program, the Organizing Board hopes to create a practical, and creative playground for the youth to contribute their projects, initiatives to 03 categories: Innovating teaching and studying method, Inventing tools to assist teaching and studying; Sharing research studies in Education and Science.
The excellent idea contributing to educational field
In the age of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, the young generation have many things to do. As a developing country, Vietnam is looking for solution for many challenging problems, including education and training. Young Talents for Education was born with that mission.
In this contest, many products which are tools to assist teaching and studying are decently researched, presented with model products, registered with copyright, and made with industrial designs; many products are applied with new technologies such as artificial intelligence, augmented reality, 3D printing, big data… Besides, the young intellectuals have applied and brought into play the technological platform in innovating teaching methods in a creative and effective way. There are many young intellectuals caring about innovating education for students of ethnic minority, improving the educational quality for children with difficulties.

Since launching, Young Talents for Education program has received many projects, and initiatives sent from many regions nationwide. Based on their creativity, and uniqueness, the Judging panel will choose the most excellent and help them to deploy in real life.
The program will award to a maximum of 15 projects, and initiatives which comes to the finale. Among these, a maximum of 5 most excellent projects, and initiatives will be rewarded VND 100 million per each, together with certificate of merit by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Ministry of Education and Training and campaign medal “Creative youth”. The other projects in the finale will be awarded “Dedication” award with a reward of 10 million each, and a certificate of merit from the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and Ministry of Education and Training.
The hope in the prosperity of the educational system
As a companion of the contest for many years, Mr. Bui Van Huong, Deputy General Director of Thien Long Group Corporation Company shared the joy with the results of the program this year. This shows that there are more and more young intellectuals who are ready to contribute to the development of the educational system of the country.
“If the investors see a good product, they will be willing to invest, and mass produce. Lacking investors, young intellectuals do not know how to continue. In the coming year, Organizing board should invite business corporations as investors, to sit with the judging panel to evaluate the feasibility of products for investment.” Dr. Nguyen Quan, former Minister of Science – Technology, member of the Judging panel said.
By successfully organizing “Young Talents for Education”, Thien Long Group hope to bring the projects which can contribute to the development of the educational system to the community, realizing them step by step. Simultaneously, the program is also an open door for the young intellectuals with the passion to dedicate, who has a HEART – and a VISION in educational field, in an attempt to build a new generation that is on par with to other countries.
