Nearly 45 Years of Thien Long and Its Distribution Network Serving Vietnamese Education
Following the success of its 2024 Customer Conference in Bangkok, Thailand, Thien Long Group organized this year’s event in Da Nang, bringing together nationwide distributors and over 900 customers. Last year, the company conveyed the message “Together Overcoming High Waves – Together Reaching New Heights.” This year, continuing the theme of “riding the waves,” the group emphasized its strong customer connection with the message: "Riding the Waves, Reaching New Heights – Connecting for Success."
“Riding the Waves, Reaching New Heights – Connecting for Success” is the theme of Thien Long’s 2025 Distributor and Customer Conference.
This year’s conference took place against the backdrop of Thien Long’s steady growth over the first five months of the year, despite challenges from geopolitical fluctuations and changes in administrative boundaries. This year’s event carried even more significance as Thien Long and its customers look forward to the company’s 45th anniversary. Group leaders affirmed that beyond business, over more than four decades, distributors and retail partners have worked together with Thien Long on a meaningful mission: delivering high-quality products to serve Vietnamese education.
Ms. Tran Phuong Nga – CEO of Thien Long Group – affirmed that the traditional channel has been the lifeblood connecting Thien Long products to consumers over the past 45 years.
“Thanks to the traditional distribution channel – a resilient lifeline – Thien Long’s products have touched the hearts of Vietnamese consumers across three generations, not through flowery words, but through quality, trust, integrity, and steadily built reputation,” emphasized Ms. Tran Phuong Nga, CEO of Thien Long Group.
Distributor representatives also echoed the sentiment, stating that every distributor acts as a vital part of Thien Long, conveying the full value of a Vietnamese brand to customers.
“Each pen sold is more than a commercial transaction. It represents the entrusted trust of teachers, students, and parents – of an entire generation – and is a responsibility to preserve Vietnamese values and keep the flame of Thien Long alive in the hearts of the people,” a distributor representative emphasized.

The phrases "rapid and sustainable growth" were consistently emphasized in presentations by senior executives. The group reaffirmed its commitment to sustainable growth based on a solid foundation built over nearly half a century.
In terms of business strategy, the group is investing in four pillars: brand, products, people, and system. Of these, developing talented, high-performing individuals with a modern mindset is seen as the engine for future breakthroughs in sales.
For product development, Thien Long continues to expand its product ecosystem with the goal of delivering “Vietnamese solutions for Vietnamese people.” The group believes that deep understanding of Vietnamese consumers is the key to continuously creating new, high-quality products. Their product development strategy is guided by: commitment to quality control, refining technology, and deep customer insight.
“Thanks to our deep understanding of Vietnamese handwriting styles, ink color preferences, and pen-holding techniques, we continuously refine our ink and pen tip technology – which is Thien Long’s core strength and also one of the most challenging areas to perfect writing experience. Additionally, with meticulous quality control from input to output, down to the smallest ballpoint component, using modern machinery, we are committed to delivering products with the highest consistency, effectiveness, and durability.” Ms. Tran Phuong Nga shared.
