Appointment of Three Independent Board Members, Thiên Long Commits to Transparency and Efficiency

Date : 08-08-2025

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the 2024 fiscal year of Thiên Long has elected the Board of Directors for the 2025–2028 term.

Ms. Trần Phương Nga – CEO of Thiên Long Group

Accordingly, alongside Mr. Cô Gia Thọ, Ms. Cô Cẩm Nguyệt, and Mr. Nguyễn Đình Tâm who continue to serve as members of the Board of Directors, the new term from 2025–2028 sees the addition of Ms. Trần Phương Nga – General Director – and the participation of three independent members with solid expertise, extensive experience, and diverse perspectives: Mr. Lê Trung Thành, Ms. Tiêu Yến Trinh, and Mr. Phạm Ngọc Tuấn.

Mr. Lê Trung Thành – Independent Board Member of Thiên Long Group

Mr. Lê Trung Thành is the first independent board member of Thiên Long in the new term. With over 30 years of “strategic field experience” at leading Vietnamese corporations such as Unilever, Pepsico, FPT, Masan Group, and Viettel Group. Currently, Mr. Thành is a senior advisor in the strategic consulting division of EY Consulting. He also has had a significant recent experience personally founding and successfully building his own startup.

No longer just the “number one hired executive,” he is now a connector between the professional world of large corporations and the flexible, innovative world of startups.

For Mr. Thành, Thiên Long is not merely a product – it is a symbol of learning, creativity, and far-reaching aspirations with a pioneering entrepreneurial spirit.

The next independent board member of Thiên Long is Ms. Tiêu Yến Trinh. Ms. Trinh is a prominent figure in Vietnam’s community of female entrepreneurs: sharp in business and full of energy in community activities. With the motto “The power of value synergy,” Ms. Trinh always brings positive energy not only to opportunities but also to challenges. This energy helps her become an inspiration, a multi-tasking businesswoman, and a hands-on human resources strategist who consistently brings tangible positive value to businesses and organizations in the various roles she has held over the past 30 years.

Ms. Tiêu Yến Trinh – Independent Board Member of Thiên Long Group

She is currently the Founder and CEO of Talentnet and a professional independent board member at Vinamilk and PNJ, with many practical contributions to the development and operational efficiency of the Board. At the same time, she also serves as Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Association for Women Executives and Entrepreneurs (HAWEE) and Vice President of the Vietnam Human Resources Club (VNHR).

With Thiên Long, she aspires to co-create dual internal and external value for a "national brand" – not only through well-received products but also through high-quality, proud internal resources. For her, all differentiation begins from elite human capital.

Mr. Phạm Ngọc Tuấn – Independent Board Member of Thiên Long Group

Mr. Phạm Ngọc Tuấn holds a Master of Management from Solvay ULB and a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) from BSU. He has held many important positions in FDI companies such as Samsung Vina and in local companies such as SPT and TIE. Currently, he is the Director of the Institute for Management and Technology Development (IMT) and also serves as the Ambassador of Japanese-style Production Management for AOTS – METI Japan. Mr. Tuấn has extensive experience in production management, risk management, and operational efficiency and always upholds professionalism and transparency. To him, professionalism and transparency are essential standards for effective corporate operations and serve as trust and guarantees for sustainable business development.

The new Board of Directors of Thiên Long also clearly reflects succession and diversity, as two long-time board members, Ms. Trần Thái Như and Ms. Cô Ngân Bình (sister of Mr. Cô Gia Thọ), have stepped down to make way for two younger members: Ms. Trần Cơ Nguyên and Ms. Trần Dinh Dinh (the two daughters of Mr. Cô Gia Thọ).

In 2025, Thiên Long marks a strong transformation with the vision of “Glocalisation,” expanding to international markets and being ready to break through in the new decade based on its leading position in Vietnam’s stationery industry.

The year 2025 is identified as a pivotal milestone, the beginning of vigorously implementing the "GLOCALISATION" strategy. Accordingly, Thiên Long will transform into a global enterprise based on a solid foundation from the Vietnamese market.

Specifically, Thiên Long will promote business activities in international markets to fully exploit growth potential in these regions, especially Southeast Asia – a region with strategic geographical location and similarities in population, culture, and economy. Based on its experience, strong brand, and proven quality product portfolio, TLG will flexibly adjust its business strategies to suit each key market. The goal is to build a smart, efficient business model and localize products as well as sales programs appropriate for each location. Conversely, TLG will also bring high-quality products, ideas, and international standards back to Vietnam to offer local consumers diverse products that keep pace with global trends.

In 2025, the AGM approved the following business plan targets: Net revenue of VND 4,200 billion, net profit after tax of VND 450 billion, and dividend of 35% of par value.

In 2024, Thiên Long achieved positive business results, with consolidated net revenue reaching VND 3,759 billion, accomplishing 99% of the plan approved by the AGM. Consolidated net profit after tax (excluding minority interest) reached VND 461 billion, achieving 121% of the target set by the AGM. This is clear evidence of the Group’s effective operations and strategic management capabilities.

One of Thiên Long’s highlights is the e-commerce segment, which saw an impressive growth rate of 2.6 times compared to the same period, positioning Thiên Long as the leader in the online stationery sector. At the same time, international business activities continued to be a significant growth driver for Thiên Long, reaching a revenue milestone of VND 1,000 billion – an increase of nearly 25% compared to 2023.

Not only growing in business, Thiên Long has continued to elevate its brand presence in the hearts of Vietnamese and international consumers, especially in Southeast Asian countries. In 2024, Thiên Long’s brand value reached VND 1,000 billion and was recognized as a “Favorite Brand Among Young Consumers” along with 20 major national and international awards.
